Donald Trump will be inaugurated as the 47th president of the United States on Monday, January 20, 2025.

The Dismantling of Democratic America begins in five days. Trump and his cabal of Culture War Criminals will call the shots. I present to you now what will take place, in whole or in part, over the next two years — beginning with the Republicans in Congress who will, again and again, vote against truth, justice and the American way. Yes, these are the deplorables who a plurality of Americans entrusted with their democracy. I hope those voters are satisfied on the trans-bathroom front and with stemming the hideous invasion on our southern border of dark people who want to pay taxes and work the jobs that those already living here can’t be bothered with. Those bigots and gullible idiots are about to get more than they bargained for.

In fairness, there are at least 100 others who qualify in at least one category, and many of the examples span the entire alphabet of gathering fascism — in other words, they are all excellent poster children for the whole pantheon of disgrace. And the following is their agenda, which they’re already getting busy on, even before Der Furor’s swearing in.

1. Ravage public education, by funneling tax dollars into private (read “white flight/Christian”) schools.

2. Censor history and replace it with revisionism. If slavery, Vietnam and the Trail of Tears seem bad for our self-image, no worries. You’ll love Dining with Indians and D-Day as the entire curriculum.

3. Start a trade war that sends consumer prices soaring. Trump still doesn’t know what tariffs are, or their effect, but he loves getting even for perceived slights — no matter how much the average consumer will be ratfucked.

4. Embrace expansionism to Greenland, the Panama Canal, Canada and possibly even California, inviting China to invade Taiwan.

5. Extort Ukraine into ceding territory to the Russian invaders. Springtime for Putin and Hungary, winter for the Baltics and NATO.

6. Cut Medicare and Medicaid, harming the most vulnerable Americans. Big, big savings, except for — you know — lives. Not CEO lives, mind you. Just the peasantry.

7. Defy the 1st Amendment to punish news organizations and undermine freedom of religion. The Christian Taliban tolerates neither accountability nor infidels. Can’t happen here? Just watch.

8. Double down on curtailing minority voting rights. In my suburb, I just tell the poll workers my name and address. I’m white. In Atlanta, please furnish your DNA profile and Proof of Not Death certificate.

9. Piss on the Statue of Liberty by deporting millions of hardworking and law-abiding immigrants. Because, as we have heartbreakingly learned, that’s what the public thinks it wants. Xenophobia turns out to be a really good selling point in America, that exceptional nation populated with dopes, bigots and assholes just like everywhere else.

10. Cut taxes for corporations and the rich, raise them for the middle class. Ibid. 2016-2020.

11. Abuse the IRS by dramatically defunding its resources for finding evaders, especially those many conservative political activists posing as religious organizations and non-partisan ‘think tanks.’

12. Law and order! But not in the economy. Remove the cops from the beat of commerce, letting businesses free to have hazardous workplaces, child labor, dangerous products and processes, polluting emissions and unscrupulous finances.

13. Defang all climate regulation, propping up Big Oil (read “big donors”) and speeding up the inhabitability of Earth.

14. Build up the police state and the surveillance state. Soon the Patriot Act will look, relatively speaking, like the Girl Scout’s Pledge.

15. Legislate an abortion ban. You remember: the one they swore they wouldn’t pursue? That one.

16. So long, Obamacare. We hardly knew you.
