A part of me has similar sentiments. I'm the parent of a 4th grader, and a non-gun enthusiast. I lose sleep worrying about my kids. But as much as the Republican party revolts me, I cannot lay the principal blame at the feet of Abbot, Cruz, and the like (though they are blame-worthy for other issues).
I blame the shooter first and foremost. What kind of dickless sicko gets-off on wearing body armor and shooting-up kids in a school who cannot defend themselves?
I blame the shooter's family and friends (if he had any) for failing to put him down or away before now.
I blame the school and school district for failing to protect its students.
I blame the police officers who failed to respond with urgency.
I blame the public for supporting this failed institution called "public school" which has been abusing children for 50+ years and even when kids are murdered in school the lib-tards are still calling teachers "heroes" while opposing alternative choices for education. I blame the public for worshiping police officers for the same reason.
And yes, I do blame the republican party for a failure to understand the importance and significance of the 2nd Amendment. This isn't in the Bill of Rights to support firearm sales or to irritate the political left. You people are hurting the cause.
Lots of blame to go around. I don't blame Bob for venting his emotions, but accusing Republicans of premeditating this horrific crime is not a reasonable view.
Bob, I was such a fan of your work on On the Media, and really wanted to keep following you - but I'm really turned off by your use of profanity. I'm not usually overly sensitive to colorful language - but in this case, it adds nothing to your arguments and merely serves to turn me off and make me tune out. If/when you tone the language down, I'd be happy to tune back in.
You are the bully Bob, playing a victim. I do not threaten you, so you have nothing to act on. I wish no harm to you at all. Victim bullying is what you are doing and your rant is hilarious.
Bob, your outrage is justified and should be shared via social media. Will you provide a written version on this site for us to link to? I would gladly share.
Your righteous indignation is rather sad. You claim that you care about other people’s lives but believe that an entire group of people should die. How exactly does that make you any better than the people you claim are uncaring?
It’s this exact type of thinking that drove the person who shot up all those people. They viewed an entire group of people with disdain to such a degree that it’s justifiable to destroy them.
And you just articulated the very thing you claim to condemn.
Roosevelt would have never agreed with you. You talk like a bully, much like a bully that bullied the kids that cause these problems. You sound unhinged and your right to own a fire arm should be taken away. You are then first bully boy I would refuse ownership to
Who, pray tell, is he bullying? The people who are in every way responsible for these murders? He is outraged at those who have the power, but not the will or sense to stop this carnage - these are children man! The people who elected them should be as outraged and voice their opposition to their do-nothing abuse of power and outright lies. What will it take to stop this?
I support gun rights. There will be more support for gun ownership. School shootings are a spurious statistic. Your unreasonable stance will be met by opposition by many angry people, many who are angrier than you. What will you do? Buy a gun and shoot us?
I appreciate your passion and bravery in expresses your feelings so honestly.
You are kind. Thank you

go fuck yourself?
Why would you say something like that Shaun?
Clearly irony is not your strong point Pauly.

Only a psychopath would find Bob's words hilarious.

Are you threatening me? Let me know. I'll act accordingly.
What is your solution?
