I'm grateful for those physicists endeavoring to figure out and explain how gravity fits in with all those itty-bitty subatomic particles (both wave and particle and ...?). Trying to understand this keeps me from critical questions like: How could I have accepted democracy as fact and never-ending truth? How could I assume that all humans want is to have basic needs met and not do too much damage to other people? Stupidity prevails in my frontal lobes, and here I thought I was both smart and educated. Bob Garfield, thank you for your ability to write, your honesty, humility, humor, and all-around menschiness. As an old person with a uterus, I find in your compositions of comfort. Thanks for the best sort of entertainment.

I still check on the OTM gang, but without Bob's take, i'm afraid the show is missing an essential substance.

I'm thankful to have found Bully Pulpit and send best wishes to all stumbling into 2022.

I'd love to hear what got you off On the Media, but for now it's just great to hear your voice again. Stay thankful--and angry.

I have concluded that WNYC is a fatally flawed and corrupt organization. For many years, I was a sustainer. Since the firing of Lenny Lopate, I ceased all contributions, and since that time, I have not turned it on even once. Good riddance to WNYC and all its attendant crap.

Love this! I'm glad I found you again Bob. Never a dull day when you have the rage-o-meter cranking. And usually a very insightful day too. I give thanks to your thanks.

On getting fired, what happened to you was the outcome of a nasty woke witch-hunt that makes me incredibly sad, also angry.

Similar witch-hunts with bad outcomes happened to Jonathan Schwartz at New York Public Radio, and Garrison Keillor at Minnesota Public Radio.

Jonathan Schwartz made a comeback with his own streaming channel, but subsequently aged out and retired.

Garrison Keillor began making a comeback a couple of years ago, blogging and writing books. Now he is back to doing live shows, promoted by his own newsletter, but unsupported by public media of any kind.

I commend him for his diligence, dedication and hard work in the face of a destroyed career.

I commend you as well for keeping on keeping on, in the face of similar destruction. Please continue to give us your insights as much as you physically can, and don’t let the woke bastards get you down!

Love ya Bob. Suggestion for 2022, take it easy on the f bombs and variations... you don't need 'em. Just say "fudge n'crackers"... we'll know what you mean. Health wise I've had RA for a long time now. Humira was a miracle... and thanks to Catalunya's healthcare I got it fer nuttin... or for us citizens collectively investing in taxes that go to where they should be going. If not the price of 600 clams a shot would have bought me a piece of wood to bite down on and a cane. Have you looked into it or similar stuff? Healthcare and Education should be hardcore non-profit by law. Ha. Ha. Ha. What am I... dreamin'? Easy on the cortisone amic... por favor. Hugs.

Sadly, On the Media has lost its way.

I salute your outlook, honesty and talent. It's a bad time for those of us who recognize our government and freedoms are not guaranteed. I hope your pain subsides.

Is Bob an avataR for us other bosses who believe in plain speaking? I try to make it clear to my minions (aka employees) that I'm just a critic, not really an evil grouch.
